Nettle Creek Baptist Cemetery

Also called Old South Losantville, is located on county road 1100 west, just north of the Wayne/Randolph county line (1100 south).  The earliest burial known is 1832.  There have been two churches on either side of the cemetery.  Robert Lumpkin, veteran of the Revolutionary War is buried here.  Also, Samuel Burroughs, the first white child born in this township (Nettle Creek Township).  Last known burial was in 1898.  There are 173 known burials here, some others unknown.
